Welcome to the official website of the Lincoln Karate School in association with Suzuki Ha Karate-Do.

The late Professor Tatsuo Suzuki Hanshi is still one of the most famous Japanese Karateka to leave mainland Japan and is largely responsible for the spread of Karate throughout the rest of the world. He was the personal student of Wado Ryu founder Hironori Ohtsuka Meijin and would later develop one of the largest Wado associations in the world, the Wado International Karate Federation.

Following the passing of her beloved Husband and Sensei in 2011, Eleni Labiri-Suzuki was determined to keep his teachings alive. For nearly 30 years she was his student, training partner and together they travelled the world delivering seminars to the thousands. Eleni Labiri-Suzuki had a unique insight to Suzuki Sensei's teachings and this left her with an invaluable knowledge of Wado Ryu techniques. Therefore to help ensure these teachings were not lost or misinterpreted she set up the Suzuki Ha Karate-Do.

Rob Lewis, a personal student of Eleni Labiri-Suzuki was encouraged to follow his lifelong dream and set up his own school for Karate. In 2016 he did just that and developed Lincoln Karate School one of the first clubs to join Suzuki Ha Karate-Do and help keep the teachings of Tatsuo Suzuki Hanshi alive.
